All COLT Grill locations are under investigation for alleged money laundering and labor exploitation and are closed to the public. Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and other federal agencies served search warrants Tuesday morning at every location. COLT Grills are BBQ smokehouses serving burgers, brisket, and smoked meats. There are locations in downtown Prescott, Prescott Valley, Cottonwood, Sedona, and the newest location in Foley, Alabama, which opened in January. The Cottonwood location was the first to open in January 2017, with the rest opening in the years to come. Respective local law enforcement is assisting with scene security and public safety and asks the public to avoid the area as the court-ordered search warrants are conducted.
